OK...... a little about me .....

I was born and raised in rural Ohio, eldest of 7 brothers.

Nature and imagination played a huge role in my childhood. Utilizing apple trees as bat caves (I was batman, my brother was robin), exploring the 'jungle' behind our house (an old tree-lined canal), lying on our cool concrete sidewalk on warm summer nights.....watching the lightning bugs, stars, and heat lightning, and later lying in bed while the wind dragged the tree branches across the shingled roof above our heads, are all vivid memories of a childhood which seemed for a while so sweet and innocent.

These experiences and many more to come would shape my appreciation for nature, the world we live in, and how we are all intertwined with this big blue marble we live on.

Now, as a father of 2, I am blessed with being able to relive these experiences through the curious and imaginative eyes of my kids.

I love my 'job' and appreciate the honor of being chosen to capture some of these wonderful moments for others.
